This Frank Miller cartoon from the Des Moines Register was published many years ago. I have twice requested permission from the Register to scan and post this but, having received no reply, assume that "silence implies consent". The fault in the lower left corner is due to the brittle nature of paper posted on display for over a decade.

If you are puzzled why residents of rural Iowa might find this cartoon entertaining, you have never gone to the atlas seeking the locations of such well-known towns as Delhi, Durango or Fillmore in response to a Weather Service tornado watch or warning.

In fond memory of Frank Miller, a great editorial cartoonist.
