Oak Openings GPR Plan
We have a permit to conduct measurements along the Wabash-Cannonball hiking and biking trail across a 4.8-km wide segment of the Oak Openings sand belt. This survey should be completed during May of 2004.
This hiking trail, a former railroad right-of-way, provides one of the few continuous profiles available across most of the sand belt. This profile is not precisely parallel to dip but it is close enough to be useful.
