Gravity Base Station, UT Campus
Established by Dr. D. Stierman in 2004

South courtyard, door to Bowman-Oddy is in the center of the photo.  The base station is just east of the second pillar from the door.

Observed gravity at this location is 980235.563 milligals.

Close-up of base station with gravity meter set over faint "X" mark in concrete.  That mark explains why geophysicists sometimes carry a rock hammer.

When I have time I will document the base station used to establish this new base station.
