Used seismograph display drums

These were running when I arrived in Toledo in 1984, surplus equipment from the University of Michigan sent to Toledo about 1979.  First the motors began to wear out, finally there was some problem with amplifiers or power supply that made the pen motors run wild.  Due to loss of our electrical technician position, there is no one who can diagnose the problem(s), much less fix things.

We now are in the process of using the seismometers with Web-based displays.  The hardware is here.  If anyone has any use for these, I will bring them to the OhioSeis workshop, or you may stop by to pick them up at your convenience.  I can use the space.  Contact me.
